Cover with 4G co-site, realize 5G macro station does not add new site, maximum macro network value


The 2.6 GHz and C-band are the base layer for the 5G network experience coverage. In the construction of the macro station, the wireless main equipment only accounts for 20% of the total site construction investment, far less than the site rent. Therefore, the C-band coverage can be improved, and the same coverage with the 4G co-site can be achieved without adding a new site, which can maximize the investment value of the macro station. In the 5G era, indoor digitalization needs to be carried out simultaneously with Hongnet.


Since the mobile network entered the MBB era, a large part of mobile network data traffic came from indoors, and some cities even accounted for more than 70%. In hospitals, shopping malls, office buildings, campuses, airports, subway stations and other crowded indoor areas, the traffic volume of the community is even 20 times the average of the entire network. Moreover, in the future, digital upgrades will be implemented in the entire industry, such as smart factories, smart medical care, and distance education, which will further increase the requirements for indoor bandwidth, delay, and connections. Therefore, indoor digitalization needs to be carried out simultaneously with the macro network.


The 5G terminal will use 4 antennas as the mainstream configuration. The indoor digital system (DIS) is equipped with 4 transmitters and 4 receivers, which can fully utilize the performance of 5G terminals. The peak rate can reach 1.6Gbps, which is twice or even 4 times that of traditional room antennas. And with 4G, 5G co-site capabilities, can be deployed at one time, while improving the experience of 4G and 5G users. Today in China, indoor digitalization and Hongwang 5G construction have been carried out simultaneously, and have been deployed in large indoor places such as Beijing Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao Hub, Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Center, and Shenzhen Intercontinental Hotel.
