[Seoul, South Korea, November 21, 2019] The 26th GTI Symposium was held in Seoul, South Korea from November 18 to 20, 2019. Nearly 200 representatives from more than 30 operators and manufacturers including China Mobile, Vodafone, KT, LGU +, NTT DOCOMO, SoftBank, Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia, and Qualcomm attended the meeting to discuss the key issues of 5G industry development and commercial use And focus on 5G enterprise private network and cloud XR special topics, and work with industry partners to promote the accelerated maturity of the 5G industry.

At this GTI seminar, as the organizer and main content contributor of the GTI Sub-6GHz 5G pre-commercial white paper, Huawei shared the successful experience of helping China Mobile build the world ’s largest and best-performing 5G commercial network in Hangzhou. Including tested and verified network solutions, end-pipe collaboration suggestions, and network performance optimization parameters. Huawei is firmly targeting the 5G SA target architecture, providing end-to-end NSA & SA dual-mode product solutions, supporting rapid commercialization of 5G networks and smooth evolution towards SA.

With the development of the mobile industry, spectrum comes first. At present, global spectrum planning has reached consensus on C-Band as the preferred spectrum for the initial commercial use of 5G. In order to further promote the development of the 5G industry, Huawei proposes 6GHz as the key spectrum for the next stage of 5G development, and calls on the industry to start the 6GHz-oriented spectrum ecological construction and related research work as soon as possible.

With the advent of the 5G commercial era, 2G and 3G are gradually withdrawing from the network, and NB-IoT has become the mainstream LPWA technology in the world. Huawei explores the inevitability of NB-IoT replacing 2G IoT services through technology comparison, ecological maturity presentation, and analysis of main business characteristics, and advocates vigorously developing the NB-IoT ecosystem through industry alliances and industry associations such as GTI to promote NB-IoT technology In-depth application in various industries.

At this GTI seminar, Huawei also conducted in-depth discussions with industry partners on topics such as 5G / 4G dual-mode Massive MIMO, 5G autonomous driving networks, 5G network architecture for vertical industry applications, industrial modules and visual information cloud processing solutions. Explore.

The 27th GTI Summit & Symposium will be held in February 2020 in Barcelona, Spain.
