Peng Song stated in his speech that the digital economy is becoming the main engine of global economic development, deeply integrating digital technology into the production scenario of thousands of industries, making data a new type of production factor, and achieving a significant leap in social productivity. Digital infrastructure is like a 'highway' in the digital economy era. Through the coordinated development of transportation, computing, and storage capabilities, data collection, transmission, calculation, storage, and analysis are more efficient, thereby leaping up digital productivity and fully unleashing the vitality of the digital economy

When it comes to how to build a leading digital infrastructure, Peng Song proposes to build a leading "transportation capacity" facility, using more advanced technologies such as 5.5G, F5.5G, and Net5.5G to build a network capability of billions of IoT and 10 Gigabit experience; Build a solid "computing power" facility and continuously break through in diverse computing fields such as general computing and artificial intelligence computing; Build a reliable "storage capacity" facility to store, run, and use data effectively. We will continue to innovate technology to help customers build leading digital infrastructure and accelerate their journey towards an intelligent world, "Peng Song said.

At the conference, experts from the industry also shared on how to move towards a smart world.

Wang Zhiqin, Vice President of the China Academy of Information and Communication Research, shared the ten trends of ICT industry development in 2023: "With the support of data elements, the digital economy is moving towards a new stage of quality and quantity improvement, the construction of digital governance and digital security systems has been basically completed, and the high-quality development of ICT will drive the healthy and prosperous development of the digital economy."

Sun Zhengyun, vice president and secretary-general of China Energy Research Association, shared the thinking of Digital transformation of power grid enterprises in the context of dual carbon, deeply integrated digital technology with traditional power technology, promoted platform based architecture, data value, and business intelligence, and served the high-quality development of power enterprises and the national economy.

Li Fuchang, Director of the Wireless Technology Research Center of China Unicom Research Institute, shared the research and exploration conducted by China Unicom in the 5.5G era, showcasing a series of cutting-edge practices represented by synesthesia integration, 5.5G URLLC, and RedCap, and providing prospects for the future development direction of 5.5G.

Feng Dan, Distinguished Professor of Changjiang Scholars and Dean of the School of Computer Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, shared the development trends of the Diskless architecture and near data processing in data centers. She said, "The development of technologies such as high-performance heterogeneous computing power, high-speed networks, large storage capacity new disk frames, and near data processing is accelerating the transition from a CPU centered coupling architecture to a Diskless architecture with storage and computing separation and resource pooling sharing. In the future, large storage capacity new disk frames will become a new base for data storage.
