In the past four years, under the guidance of the "dual gigabit" policy, the industry has jointly practiced the principles of "one person to everyone gigabit", "down gigabit to up and down gigabit", and "no difference between urban and rural areas", leading the direction of 5G construction and development. At present, 110 cities have reached gigabit cities, and the 5G accessibility rate of key locations in gigabit cities has reached 100%. The next few years will still be a critical period for 5G construction. In order to build a sustained leading advantage, the construction of gigabit networks must also enter a new journey, consolidate ubiquitous gigabit networks, and accelerate the integration and innovation of gigabit networks.
Consolidate ubiquitous gigabit networks and expand 5G breadth and depth
5G traffic is growing rapidly, and the 5G diversion ratio in multiple regions exceeds 50%. In the next few years, 5G will become the foundation network, independently supporting all businesses. On the one hand, 5G needs to continue to deepen and expand, and consolidate the ubiquitous gigabit experience.
Firstly, gigabit will expand from key cities and rural areas to all cities and rural areas. From "one hundred cities per gigabit" to "one thousand cities per gigabit", achieving urban indifference. From 5G coverage in administrative villages to 5G coverage in natural villages and gigabit administrative villages, achieving no urban-rural differentiation. For remote areas such as the ocean, moving towards sea and land "service homogeneity".
Secondly, gigabit deepens, from doing best to experiencing multidimensional certainty. At present, the development of 5G new business is accelerating: the naked eye 3D acceleration period has arrived, and cloud phones, new calls, etc. are also being vigorously promoted. The new business requires the deterministic guarantee of gigabit networks moving from pure rate to latency and uplink, which puts forward higher requirements for network coverage and edge coverage quality.
Accelerate 5G-A integration and innovation, moving towards a new level of ubiquitous 10000 megabytes
On the other hand, with the accelerated maturity of the 5G-A industry chain and the gradual clarification of business scenarios, the accelerated integration of manufacturers has brought 5G-A into reality. 5G-A will move from ubiquitous gigabit to ubiquitous gigabit, helping China continue to lead in 5G.
At present, the 10GbE industry is fully mature, and the end tube core is ready. The 5G-A chip that supports 10Gbps has been released, and the 10 Gigabit technology based on ultra large bandwidth and ELAA has been verified in the Huairou outfield. From Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou in China to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and other countries, global operators are conducting commercial verification and small-scale deployment of 10000 megabytes.
Meanwhile, hundreds of billions of connections are accelerating, with clear technological and business scenarios. The RedCap core mold end has matured and is commercially available on a large scale in scenarios such as power and factories. The Passive IoT industry is accelerating its maturity, making the entire process of the factory transparent and visible. The integration of communication perception accelerates the exploration of commercial scenarios such as intelligent transportation and low altitude security.
