How to achieve intelligent operation based on existing networks and data, and fully stimulate the potential of the network, has become an important topic this year.


Beijing Unicom proposed that smart operation should meet the four static elements (the most dimension, the smallest unit, the most comprehensive index, and the optimal algorithm) and the four dynamic elements (sensitive insight, smart algorithm, flexible network, and flexible operation) at the same time, and achieve the goal of smart network through the combination of dynamic and static. For complex scenes such as buildings, stadiums and residential areas, the granularity of network assessment has changed from small area level to beam level, and based on Big data and intelligent algorithms, accurate insight into 5G stereo coverage has been achieved. By using intelligent planning, network problems are matched with engineering solutions to achieve the highest cost-effectiveness of planning. In the operation of the network, combined with the dynamic four elements, the network identifies base station faults, locates the causes, and automatically adjusts according to the surrounding base stations and wireless environment to achieve network self-healing optimization and achieve optimal operational efficiency.

After 4 years of commercial use, the network has entered the 5G deep coverage challenge zone, providing the ultimate experience of "the last 100 meters" in residential areas, and consolidating the gigabit of the entire scene. At the same time, the network also needs to start upgrading its capabilities for the upcoming bare eye 3D new business, new calls, cloud phones, 8K high-definition multi-channel live streaming, and other businesses, creating a 5G network that meets the full business needs.


Beijing Unicom has created the strongest ubiquitous gigabit experience network in Beijing using innovative solutions such as Huawei MetaAAU, EasyMarco, and DRS. The completed community has seen a 50% increase in 5G traffic, greatly improving the 5G experience in residential areas. At the same time, Beijing Unicom has taken the lead in deploying 5G high-frequency products in hot scenes through the use of Huawei ELAA technology, achieving simultaneous live streaming with four 8K high-definition cameras, and reaching a peak of 2Gbps upstream, laying the foundation for the earliest commercial use of 10Gbps capacity.
